Need a little advice

I have a friend that just got a 2010 Mini Cooper. None of the switches on the signal light handle are working, including the signal lights themselves, and the air bag light is on. Neither of the front windows will go down. I've been through all the fuses. The signal light switch will not stay in any position but center. I can't find any schematics. I know there is a control module, but I'm finding limited information on it. Can anyone offer any advice here? I don't have access to a computer that will plug into this car. I'm thinking of the switch, but right now I have a 50/50 chance, and that is an expensive dart to throw.

Going to move this to the Gen2 section as your friends car is a 2010.
