Double pull to open - not working
Hi everyone,
New to Mini, not to BMW. Recently purchased an 06 Cooper S. I noticed the other day that the passenger door double pull isn't work. If the door is unlocked, the handle will pop the door open, but if the door is locked, the single pull to unlock the door doesn't work. The driver side works as it should. I removed both door cards, compared and everything looked good and all was in place. The only difference I noticed between the two was that the driver door handle did have that catch point when pulled (location where it pops the lock) and the passenger did not. Has anyone had any experience with this? At this point I would consider dealership but I know they're just going to call me and say I need a new door lock actuator.
