Won't start and steering is unlocked after clutch job
I just finished changing the clutch in my '09 Clubman S, and the car won't start, plus the steering wheel spins freely with the key out. The battery is fully charged. There must be some steering interlock connector I didn't connect, is there anything obvious I should be looking for?

with the car jacked up, the wheels turn rather easily than on the ground.
Check the crankshaft sensor plug...it is located in the back of the engine where the flywheel is...# 3 & 8 in the diagram

The crankshaft sensor seems okay, and I've got power at the starter and the ecu, and the instrument cluster powers up, the main relay seems to be kicking over. In desperation I checked the switch on the clutch master. I can get the engine to turn over if I put a magnet on the switch, but the engine won't run. The master is new, could I have gotten one with a bad switch?
