Anyone else have Cruise Control issues?
I don't think it's a problem with the system, I think it might have just been designed band.
When I'm driving down the highway and set my cruise control...say at 70mph. It will hold it there pretty good, then when I get to a hill, it might drop down to 65mph before it starts giving the car gas up the hill. Then when the road levels out, the cruise control settle back down to around 67-68mph...then I have to reset it to 70 again.
Same thing with going down a hill.....the car might speed up to 75-76 going down a hill, and then when the road levels out the cruise control will settle at a faster speed....like 72-73mph. It just seems like any hills really through it off, and I have to reset the speed.
Anyone else have this issue? If not, is there anything that needs "serviced" that would make it act better? It's been this way since I bought the car years and years ago.
Thanks!

My 2003 S has similar symptoms and always has. Going uphill it will slow down, downhill it will speed up over selected speed before it slows down. An additional problem I have on long flat sections, the speed will slowly increase over the selected speed until I hit the reduce speed button to get it back to selected speed where it will slowly increase again. I don't know if there is a software adjustment for this, maybe someone can chime in. I've just learned to live with it but I do have to pay attention to speed
