Just a FYI if you're having these symptoms. I have a 2004 Cooper with 169,000 miles with a complaint that the wipers will move on their own and the radio will cut in and out, radio display will flicker, A/C panel flickers, and blower speed will fluctuate or cut in and out. Airbag light was also on and was dim. Turned out to be a faulty ignition switch on the left side of the steering column.
