Hi, new to the forum. Having a problem with my cooper s. They key works to unlock the door, lights flash etc. But when I insert it into the ignition, I get nothing. No radio, no dash lights, nothing! I replaced the battery, which tested bad. Still nothing! Help!!!!!

 

do you only have one key?

check your fuses

 

Fuses look good

 

your ignition module could be bad. try to insert the key with some force, try to insert while pushing downward...etc..
