Freon Spraying out 2005 mini

hi everyone what could be wrong here?

The other day i lost AC and noticed liquid all over the AC compressor.

I tried added Freon recharge and it is spraying out near the compressor.

as i am adding the Freon i hear and see the mist spaying out on the passenger side of the engine near the compressor.

any ideas what needs to be done to fix it?

Thinking the relief valve is the problem. Do not know off the top of my head whether you can replace only the valve or need to replace the entire compressor.

You'll need to get the car in the air to find where the leak is. The relief valve isn't available separate from the compressor, so if that is the case a new compressor is in order, but don't buy any parts until you find where the leak is originating.

Let us know if we can help.
