12V power port in boot hanging by wires

So, hi, new to us Mini Clubman 2008! Super loving the car and got it with 58,000 miles and never winter driven (a big deal in the rust belt right?).

The rear boot (trunk) power port is dangling there and I need to know what kind of clip or ring holds it in place?
I have felt around behind the carpet panel, but alas, found no loose clip that may have secured it.
What is it I am actually looking for and where do I get one, or better yet, how to DIY attach it so it stays put?

Thanks and happy motoring!

Nobody is answering your post so I'll chime in. I don't know what holds the power port in place but even if you had the right part you're going to have to take that panel off to reattach the power port. I removed mine several years ago to secure a bracket for a fire extinguisher and it wasn't too difficult. Just remove five of those little plastic expansion rivets and disconnect an electrical connector. Once you've got the panel off you can come up with a diy fix. (think several blobs of 10 minute epoxy on the back side)

Found a rubber doohicky that was a spacer on a bicycle tire holder for a roof rack (never used), it had a notch in it that snugged up over the plastic sleeve, reach around the panel and pull tight a zip tie and presto - an accessory port that stays in place.

How about figuring a way to hold the front lighter sleeve in place? If I pull out the lighter, the whole assembly comes up with it :(

thanks!
