06 MCS R53 hazard warning switch

I noticed last evening that my hazard warning switch was not luminated
when I turned on the headlamps.

I called Mini and they told me I have to buy the whole switch as the bulb is not replaceable as its an LED.

My problem is I cannot find any info on the internet as how to remove and install the new switch. I'm guessing I have to take trim pieces off the dash ???

Anyone have any hints as to where I can locate a "how to" on this task; I can only find the info for the R56 model.

Also, I can't find the switch except at the dealer, which is going to be way overpriced ........

Any help, please let me know, Thanks !

You should be able to pull up some videos on taking the dash apart. Here is one below. Would think the plug/clip has a secondary method of holding it in place, either something you pull or push before pulling the plug itself. On the part, could check Ebay and some junk/car recycling yards.
