Jerking, Rough Idle, Stalling and Smoke

I have a 2009 Mini Cooper S. I have replaced the front O2 sensor and changed the plugs and coils. The car hesitates and jerks as I begin to accelerate and smoke sometimes come from the rear as I leave 1st gear. At a stand still I may
have rough idle and it may stall out. It does not do this all the time. Somedays it runs perfectly and some days it has the symptoms above. Please give me some direction.

Never. I've used CRC 1 Tank Power for build up. Is this something I can do myself?

I knew one guy that bought some dental tools and tired to pick the stuff off. Some Gen2 guys will chime in here but I am thinking that unless you want to buy a walnut blaster, you will end up having a shop do the work.

The Gen2 guys might also add something on whether your symptoms are related to the high pressure fuel pump but I am thinking carbon buildup.
