P0073.?

Anybody ever ran into this code.? Searched the net for an answer in which I found but I do not know exactly what to change. Help!

That is for the ambient temp sensor, right?

Here's a good source of code info --- https://www.obd-codes.com/p0073 you can search the Real OEM illustrated parts list for the sensor --- http://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/select you only need the last few characters of your VIN, or you can "bingo" the check boxes to describe your Mini. In my brief search (Audio, Navigation, Electronic Systems --- last item), I only found a pic, not it's location, but I'm pretty sure it's between the passenger side wheel well liner and the bumper.

Let us know if you need help locating other sensors --- IAT & ECT, they might have a damaged harness.

as oldbrokenwind said, check the sensor behind the wheel well on the bumper. the wires might be cut or chewed.
