Rear hatch water issue

I recently replaced my rear hatch, and today, after a pretty large storm and week of rain, I opened the door and a huge amount of water drained out of a hole in the bottom of the door. Any thoughts where it is getting into the door?

Moving this to the Stock Problems/Issues area. I am thinking there is a post that talks about the rubber trim around the back hatch.

My car had the hatch gasket pulled away in the corners - needed to cut it at the splice down by the latch and re-seat it all the way around. This is a normal shrinkage thing with rubber goods.

I also had the leaking 3rd brake light. The "foamy" gasket pulls away in the corner and leaks water into the hatch itself. I removed the light without removing the spoiler.
