Thermostat stupidity

Hello all, I have a 2010 R-55 clubman S. I ordered the part through pelican parts, put it in and my plugs are wrong that go to the thermostat. From what I can tell, I have the plugs from a 2013, they are smaller. I've seen adapter kits but it looks like only one will work. They are closed on weekend so I have to wait til Monday to ask WTF. I was wondering if anybody else ran into this issue and how to fix.. I looked at many ordering sights and they all have the same one that pelican sent me, just confused about the newer plugs, the wiring isnt cut so it's oem..

Well upon further inspection, somebody cut off the plugs and put 2013 ones on.. Any ideas on where to get the original plugs at?

Your best hope would be a wrecking yard....are you anywhere close to Rancho Cordova? Next best would be the dealership, but you might have to buy more than you need to get the right plugs.

Glad its worked, I dont know why they would cut the old plugs as for that model the new thermostats were a direct fit. Its was only base models and JCW at that time that needed the adapter wire.
