1/2 engine light on cluster...

But I can't get the INPA program to connect with my R56 ("no response from Control Unit"), and the separate code reader isn't pulling up any codes.

Any ideas?

So is it OK to continue driving the car since there is no Check Engine light on the center console area?

The car seems to stumble a bit while idling, which it's done for a long time, but when running at higher RPMs things are great.
