couple more cranks to turn over

Noticed over the past couple of mornings that it has been taking a few more cranks than the normal to start my 2004 MC up, The cranks still spin up as normal its just taking a few more to get it started.....wondering if it had anything to do with the ignition coil pack, i know its the original and the milage is 68,500.......thanks..

I believe the battery is fine, the only thing i would question would be the serp, i was planning on changing that ( it makes a swirly sound ) on the next oil change @ 70k. I have had alternator issues in the past so i don't suspect that, we have a battery tester at work i can check that on monday..... thumbs up!!

Reason I asked about those specifically, mine started doing the same thing and it was the battery. Big box guy had me back on the road in 15 or 20 minutes.

Fuel pressure - wait for the relay to kick off and then try to start it. If the fuel pressure is dropping it will take longer to start if you just "hit the key." If you turn the key on and wait for the pump to turn off, the fuel will be at pressure, and should start right up.
