Old fan did NOT come out as easily as the videos show! But it's done. Took CVT drain pan off because drain plug would not budge. Had to loosen motor mounts and jack engine and THEN barely had room to get pan off. Fluid looked clean, but filter was dirty and there was a small amount of liquid metal dust on the filter magnet. Still haven't got the drain plug out of the removed pan. Going to try heat on the pan and liquid nitrogen on the plug.

Not really a struggle until today! Today I installed new power steering pump: talk about fitting a square peg into a round hole! Also had to cut fill hose. It was hard as a rock. Ordered new hose for $31.00 Pricey hose, but nobody stocks anything like it on a reel. Waiting for my tranny drain plug and she'll be ready to crank up. Then off to the dealer for calibrating the tranny.
