First my engine oil drain plug wouldn't budge even with a power chisel, heat, penetrant soaking. NOW, I I I have my CVT pan off after being unable to remove IT'S drain plug. Ok, both of these plugs were in constant contact with oil and both are firmly stuck. Not even an impact wrench will budge the CVT pan drain plug. I've ALWAYS drained and replaced my own fluids and filters for 63 years! NEVER have I had a single plug I couldn't remove, and now I have TWO! I suspect BMW/Mini designed these things to require expensive service calls with unreasonable parts replacements.
