Airbag Warning Light

Ok, got the airbag warning light on the dash the other day. Plugged in my Ultragauge and got no codes. Sprung for an Oxgord OBD II bluetooth scanner on Ebay, it arrived last night and I checked it this morning with DashCommand and TorqueLite via my Android phone.

No codes, current, pending, or historic. Huuuu? Am I missing something? Warning light is still on. Any advice would be very welcome, much appreciated, folks.

I don't think Torque can read the extended BMW codes - it doesn't for me and I have the full version.

You may need to have the app (Carly) that reads all of the codes.

When mine was on, Torque didn't see the codes. The mini dealer said a sensor was bad, replaced it and then reset the controller.

Welp, it hangs on "connecting to car" no matter what I adjust the settings to. I must need a different OBDII adapter. *sigh* back to fleabay I go to waste more money. Anybody know of one that's a more reliable win?

Some are saying this one works....
Amazon Amazon

Look through some of the "Carly" threads to see what they are buying to make sure you get one that works. Probably about $30 bones.

On the Carly site they show the ones that work.

Mine codes as passenger seat occupancy pad fault, my bet is yours will too! Mini just announced extended coverage of 0C3 pad to 10years/120k miles, I got my letter today. Great, I've been trying to get it fixed for almost a year, only to be told no warranty. Now I'm 3 weeks past 10 year in service date and 8k over the mileage allotment, THE BATTLE HAS BEGUN,
