2010 MCS "normal" oil burn?

Hi all.
My 2010 MCS at idle seems to have a puff of faint blue smoke once in a while at idle. I can see it sitting in traffic when I slowly accelerate.
I was wondering what would be considered "normal" oil burn for this engine. It has 54K miles on it.

Nothing dripping.

Oh, what's the best way to read that dipstick. I have been shining a flashlight on it and also patting it with a paper towel to try to see the level. It looks just above 1/2 after about 1200 miles.

Thanks!
