R56 Hazard Lights not working

Hello all. I have s R56 2008 Mini Cooper Base Hatch that the hazard lights do not work. My turn signals work fine. I pulled the switch to see if it had a loose connection and even tried a replacement switch. From what I understand, these cars do not use a hazard relay? Any thoughts on where I can continue troubleshooting would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Chris

Did you try with another switch and nothing?
If turning signal are ok, could be the FRM.

Are you using heat on the footwell?

Yes, tried a new switch. Is that cable for the 4 way switch just plugged into the FRM or is it part of a harness? I am wondering if I have a bad connection. The switch glows when the headlights are on but the 4 ways never activate. There are no other electrical issues.

I do use use heat and air, yes.

You could disconnect and reconnect both plugs in the FRM module (battery disconnected).
I had a strange issue with that button some time time ago.
I left open the plastic cover that covers the FRM module (I was checking the audio plug) and when I turned the heating on the footwell, after a while, the button did not work (did not turn on or turn on but did not turn off).
In the morning, when everything was cold, the button worked perfectly.
Heat (and water) are not FRM's friends
