I've scoured the net and can't find any instance that this has happened to anyone else, so here goes nothing. The hazard light switch on the dash will illuminate sometimes while driving and sometimes even when the car is sitting. The hazard lights themselves don't come on unless you press the button which is normal, just the light in the switch comes on. I'm thinking the switch is faulty, but haven't found anything to back up my assumption. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

 

If the switch functions fine I'd say the bulb in it has a bad connection. Maybe you could remove the bulb from it?
