R55 No Start

R55 No Start

I'm working on a 09 R55 that turns over but won't start. Here's the thing, I have fuel pressure, spark, and compression. Does anyone have any ideas?

it could be a lot of things...let's start with what was done with the car that it started doing this? Having fuel pressure at this point doesnt mean anything since the car wont start. the injectors could be disabled...finally, check the crankshaft position sensor.

What are your compression numbers?

Have you checked timing?

What are the stored codes, if any?

After changing the water pump, I disconnected the ground strap from the passenger side engine mount and forgot to reinstall. Car acted normal, but would not start. Thought it was the ECU needing reprogrammed because the battery was disconnected for a week. A day later, I realized this strap was not connected and bolted it back up.

Car started right up.
