Catalyst clogging and oil burning

Is it true that R56S minis that burn engine oil, have the tendency to clog the catalyst?

I've never seen a clogged cat on these cars. I've seen Coopers that have holes in the catalysts due to massive oil consumption though.

Ironically I only seen them because I was replacing the oil filter housing gasket which was leaking coolant profusely. The header has to come off to replace that gasket and that's when I noticed oil coked stalagmites in all the exhaust runners and a hole beginning in either side of the cat. The car also had catalyst inefficiency codes and bank 1 sensor 2 rich condition codes.

You could always use a boroscope to see precat through the lambda sensor port, and post cat through the monitoring oxygen sensor port.

You saw holes that had drilled the metal that housed the catalyst?
