I tried searching but didn't find any definitive answers.

My 2011 S with 67k has been making what I believe to be starter noise upon startup in cold weather.

It used to happen when the car has been sitting for 1+hr but has gotten so it does it almost all the time now. The sound is audible but not alarmingly loud yet is reminiscent of nails on a chalk board for 1-2 seconds immediately after the car starts.

Does this ring any bells? I'm guessing a lazy starter solenoid isn't disengaging fast enough but am coming to the forums for other opinions.
