Parking light socket issue

Parking light socket issue
When I removed the front bumper the parking light holder detached from the socket.
For some reason I cannot get the bulb holder pushed into the socket to make contact.
Also, the small locking clip snapped off.
Should I go ahead and order a new socket and holder?
