Mini branded vs Lemforder - huge price dif.

I am overhauling the suspension on my 2004 MCS with 150K. Many vendors and NAM members have advised that Lemforder is an OE supplier for many suspension parts. From one of our vendors the price of a Mini-branded front strut mount is $125; the same part from Lemforder is $35! How can this be?

Same reason that the MINI tech rate is $180 while an indie is $90.
