Power Steering leaks anyone?

While I'm fixing everything else I might as well figure out why the PS hoses are wet from the reservoir on down.

Is the reservoir itself prone to leaks or just the hoses?

No way for.me to tell if they were ever changed.......

It's not the reservoir as they always look wet since they have a hole in the cap that is a vent for the pressure.

The lines are very common to leak as we replace them in our shop all the time.

So it's just the suction line most likely?

The 2 cars I had leaks on were just the clamp at the top. Then it drains down inside the heat shield.

Many times you can fix leaks with removing the factory crimp clamps and replacing them with worm style clamps, but more often than not it is the return line leaking at the crimp connection.

I can see my hoses are weeping, no significant fluid loss; 2 months in and I've not had to top off the fluid. On the back burner for now, other leaks are more prevalent that need to be addressed.......
