According to the newly published Bentley shop manual, there are at least 2 pyrotechnical explosive devices in the car other than the air bags. One for each of the front seatbelts to pre-tension the belts upon a crash impact. The MCS also has a 3 such device in the trunk to severe the positive battery terminal cable in a crash.


Better take care if you're poking around these things as a home mechanic...could lead to a nasty surprise...
