N14 S coil fitment?

Just changed the spark plugs on my 2009 MCS with the N14 engine. When I put the coils back on, they don't fit down tight. There is a light gap between the top on the plug and the the inside of the boot/terminal. Seems to run fine but is this normal?

Thanks

They don't have a nice positive "click" like some of the older cars did, they just fit into the plug tube and rest on the plug, no worries.

Thanks. But I can feel a little bit of gap between the top of the plug and the terminal (or whatever you call it). Is that just my imagination or is there actually a gap? Like I said, it runs fine so far.

My '07 N14 MCS coils fit too tight in the valve cover to feel any potential gap with the plug. Are you sure you have the correct coils and plugs?

They actually settled down after running. I may have put too much dielectric grease in the boot. What I think was happening was when I put the boot on the plug, the air trapped inside was pushing it back up because of this. They are down against the top of the plug now.
