Oil cooler bolts torque

I've searched the forum and my Bentley manual but can't seem to find the torque specs for the oil cooler to housing bolts as well as the housing to block bolts.
Anyone have these numbers?

Take another look at your Bentley......pretty sure that they're in there. Did this job about a year ago using the Bentley...seems like they're in the instructions section in a table...not in the front section with most of the torque specifications.

I went page by page and no torque settings in the Bentley so called the Detroit Tuned ,where I purchased the parts from, and spoke with a tech. He told me that there were no torque settings for the cooler to housing listed in the manual so they just go by feel and snug the bolts. He said 9 lbs on the oil cooler housing to block.
I went ahead and also torqued the cooler to housing at 9 lbs and when I went to torque the housing to block it stripped a bolt. Now it looks like i will be installing a helicoil to repair it. I may also go with longer bolts as the factory bolts only have about 5 threads or 1/4 inch that actually go into the block. No surprise a typical Mini very poor design. I will probably go down to 7 pounds to prevent another stripped bolt.

Its easy to mess up the bolts or threads on this. I really don't know if putting longer bolts is a good idea. Just to clarify you are replacing the 2 gaskets between the oil filter housing to block right? Always start those bolts by hand. By the position of it its easy to start those bolts crooked and mess something up. I have done countless oil cooler seals. While you are there replace the turbo lines. As far as torque just nice and hand tight with a little extra oomph.

Yes, I'm replacing the 2 housing to block gaskets. When it stripped the threads it had one thread attached to the bolt when I removed it. My thought was to run a tap and clean it up then use a slightly longer bolt to avoid installing a helicoil.
I'll admit the 9 ft lbs,(108 inch lbs on my 1/4 inch torque wrench) felt too tight when torquing. Hopefully my wrench calibration is not off.
