Trunk latch switch repair

I managed to do a DIY fix on my broken trunk latch switch this weekend. All you need is a T-20 torx, a soldering iron and a momentary contact switch and you can do the repair yourself. I used a piece of leather to cover the opening where the rubber used to be. It works quite well!

Great DIY video. My switch hasn't failed but I'll keep this in mind if I ever need to fix it. Thanks.
