Cool starting problem

I've read threads until my head was starting to hurt.
Background 2007 Mini S, when I go to start the car after sitting for awhile, takes around 7-8 times before it starts just get to 500 rpm's spits and shutters the dies.
Ok here's the weird part, I pulled the plugs last night cleaned then off ( really just a little bit of blackish color not caked on)
This morning the car started right up.
Plugs are NGK ILZKBR7A-8G.
After a lot of reading I really never got a straight answer on what is the best plug to use.
Or could it be the coils?

sounds like its you HPFP. Take it to the dealer asap as it should still be covered under warranty, assuming you're not over 100k miles (i think that's the mileage cutoff but I may be wrong).
