I was wondering if anyone has had a problem with a clicking or knocking when up-shifting on their MCS. Also when I am crwling to a stop(10-0mph) I can hear a scraping or scratching noise when I apply the brakes. If anyone has had similar problems or a remedy to either situation please let me know. Thanks.

Had the same problem with brake noise but not always, it was completely gone after about 2000mi. Maybe because new brakepads produce a lot of brake dust before and brakes dont give optimum bite before about 500mi...

I have a Cooper and Cooper S. This question was posted earlier this summer. The brake scratching at low speed 10 MPH is caused by the ABS System Check. This grinding is normal. The braking system is doing a self check.
