Check out our coolant change article on our site under MINI > Tech Info (tab at top), water cooling, Coolant Change. Since you removed coolant from the system you'll want to bleed the system. At this time, it may be a good idea to do a coolant change if you haven't done one in a while. Make sure you're using MINI blue coolant 50/50 mixture with distilled water.
