any tips to remove the throwbearing shaft?
whats up all!
in the middle of replacing my clutch. figure i replace the seals and bushing on the transmission. im stuck on the throwbearing shaft. Been trying to pull/hammer the shaft out but the throw bearing fork is stuck on the shaft tight. pelicanparts diy said to use adjustable wrench but ive tried and no luck. anyone have another tip for me to try?

Remove the bolts holding it on, and a slight tap with a hammer should break it free of the trans, shouldn't need anything to grip and rip with.
You aren't speaking of the input shaft are you? That won't come out unless the trans case is opened.

Perhaps the Getrag cases are different, but on the Midlands cases it is very easy to crack the case while trying to hammer this fork (with a slightly different design) out. Brute force is probably not the answer here.
