Hi everyone, I just bought a used 2007 manual Mini Cooper R52, super happy until now everything works fine.
On my RPM Meter there are some lines lighted up and some other ones are not, is this normal? A friend who also has a Mini told me that they light up in the morning when you first start the car and the engine is cold, and as the engine gets warmer they light off again, but mine never light up, see photo below:



Is this normal? Thanks for your help!!! I'm having so much fun with the Mini!!!!

 

That's normal the RPM lights are set to each models rev limit. As the Tach is shared in many different models of Gen1 MINIs,
