plastic parts

many of these parts i have no idea where they go because they were melted and gone when i got the car.. Of parts 2,3,4,7,8,9,10,11,16, which are important for the livelyhood of the car and which can be replaced by some molding or something that i can buy at the local auto place?
thanks,
jon
I'll try to get the ball rolling...

That's a crude diagram you got your hands on and that's part of the problem. The list doesn't include some of the parts on the diagram so there are no clues there to help. The other big problem is many (most?) of these parts appear to be hidden by others and won't reveal themselves without a certain amount of dismantling.
However, I think I recognize one. Part 4 looks like a part many of us have puzzled over - in fact I think there are entire threads on it (try a search on "resonator box"). IF it's the part I'm thinking of, it's sort of like an appendix, we can't figure out what it's there for. It's a hollow piece of plastic: the top of it attaches to the bottom of the airbox and it worms its way down and ends in or near the driver's side wheel well. There are two schools of thought (that I know if) on its purpose. Some say it's meant to channel any water that makes its way into the airbox down and out of the engine bay under the car. Others say it's some kind of "resonator box" meant to do something to/about sound from the airbox. Either way, it doesn't sound too important. If it's for water, the airbox will have a hole in the bottom anyway....but I wonder what the water would drip on below the airbox? If it's for sound, who cares? I've read of folks busting their knuckles trying to get rid of the thing. If you replace the stock airbox it'll probably be completely useless.
I can also confirm that part 10 is, as the list says, the front engine hood seal. This one looks more important to me as it seals the front edge of the hood when closed.
The rest of these parts are either hidden or the drawing is so poor that I just can't recognize them.
By the way, did you ever get the pic you asked for of those two lines?

im not going to use any of the stock intake, i have that "box" thingy but ill never use it (why couldnt that stuff have melted instead of the important stuff)....
i got those pics from trippy but im still alittle confused about one of the vacuum lines... This car nut guy came over here a few days ago and we tryed to figure out what was up with those lines.. im thinking that the vacuum line that goes to the intake mani from the back of the car T's off and also goes to the break booster... i ordered the part that i think will work from bmw.
will silicone vacuum hose work as a replacement for the solid black stuff? it would be kinda cool to have all red vacuum lines...
I just checked the price on the big plastic piece that goes in the front (#1) with classic mini and it was $175 plus shipping.... ouch, ive ran out of money... if anyone knows of a junkyard or racing team or someone that would have one please tell me..
