Has anyone tried this 0w-30 racing oil in their MCS or MC yet?
Just wondering how it differs from their regular oil or say Redline, aside from it being formulated for racing.
Side effects? Performance? etc...

 

I've heard that racing oil doesn't work very well in street use. It's formuated so it has very little viscocity but lacks the detergents in regular oil. No detergents are fine if the engine is going to be broken down after every race but in street use, this will lead to engine break-down. I use Mobil 1 5w-30 synthetic in my MINI and Redline also makes a street oil that is supposed to be very good (but expensive).
