Fuel filter problem.

Went to change my fuel filter on my 2002 Mini Cooper s and watching all the videos online something took me by surprise when it was different from all the videos. Mine has weird clips and a metal canister that I have no idea how to go about or what the F it is. Any help would be appreciated
