Are there any windshield wiper refills that fit?
Hi everyone! I ordered a wiper refill for my passenger side.. and it doesn't fit!
These were ANCO wiper blades, narrow, 19" that I ordered from Rainwipers.com. Well, after I fiddled with it for 15 minutes, I gave up. I bought these online because I don't have the time to drive all the way out to a mini dealer for a wiper refill. Not that I'm lazy, but well.. driving an hour for these things is ridiculous. What kind of wiper refils do you guys use, if they're not the MINI brand? And, where did you get, them, how much? Thanks! Oh, probably, I'd like info on the rear window too!

Do a search in the topics archived here in NAM and MNI2.com.
From what I have read, aftermarket wiper blades won't work in the back wiper correctly, unless they are MINI brand. Contact Classic MINI parts dept (Link in NAM sponsors) to see if you can purchase a few replacements from them.
As for the fronts, you can either go MINI brand (Don't last very long) or aftermarket. There is a very good aftermarket brand that everyone uses but whose name escapes me right now.
The passenger side wiper is longer than the driver's side.

OK, Asiandoll, this is your lucky day...
Here is the brand: SILBLADE
These are wiper blade refills made of Silicone that supposedly last 5 years.
Here is their website:
http://www.silblade.com/
They are about $20 a blade (pricey) but according to some NAM members, worth every penny over the MINI stock wipers.

Thanks for the Siliblade site. I will definitely give them a call. As for now, I have to like, "tape" the new blade that doesn't fit onto my mini..
because the old one was all torn off.. why? so in case I accidentally turn the windshield wiper on, I won't have a scratch disaster on my windshield. I will definitely call them up! And the other site too. I will check with them as well! Thanks!
