My Mini thinks key is still in ignition
I can't find a thread re. this issue. When I remove my key from the ignition switch, the switch "thinks" it is still there. Upon opening the door, I hear the "key in" tone. Also, since the car thinks the key is still in the ignition, I'm unable to lock up using the remote fob. Any ideas? Anyone heard of this happening? 2003 MCS.
