Does anyone have any diagrams or photos of the cable route for the rear part of the hood release assembly? I just want to make sure I'm routing the release cable from the lever, into that clip then up along the driver side footwell and through the firewall. My hood release seemed to snap, but it might just be a stretched cable, because I've tested the releases and they both open and close just fine from the part where one cable connects to the 2 release cables. And is there always a white cap that holds the cable housing in the stamped metal bracket that attaches to the release lever? My cable has a short black cap with the notch to fit into the U slot, but I don't see the white cap, maybe that's what snapped and rolled under the kick panel somewhere? Thanks for the help, I really just don't want to replace and re-route a new rear cable if I don't have to.

 

Nevermind I fixed it. Ziptied the cable into the U slot
