Has anyone encountered the "Braking/chassis stabilization malfunction" fault before? It says "ABS malfunction. Drive moderately. Avoid hard braking. Have the system checked by the nearest MINI center." Any ideas what it could be and how to fix?

 

The latest entry I saw here was 2014.

Last night I received the Chassis Stabilization Malfunction with my new Clubman S All4 (1,360 miles)

DSC and Steering were effected. In particular the steering malfunction makes the car not drivable. Turning the wheel even the slightest amount requires full effort with both hands.

It's in the service department now.

 

Countryman 2014 just encountered the "Braking/chassis stabilization malfunction" fault. It disappeared quickly though.
Any idea what it is? Some other thread on 2nd-gen-Mini (https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...-dsc-gone.html) mentioned SZL replacement needed.

BTW, the car just went for repair last month after it had a bad hiccup, lots of vibration from engine, almost stalling in local street. My wife was able to shut it down and restarted. Crevier Mini diagnosed Cylinder #3 misfiring and fixed it under warranty.
