P1125 - Replaced Throttle Body - Still having issue, possibly Bypass Valve? Opinions?

Hello Fellow Motorists,

So what had happened was... my R53's been running strong for 115K Miles. Then a couple weeks back I was getting onto the freeway.. full-throttle of course, and then blam... CEL came on and went into limp-mode. So while I was still rolling I shut the car off, restarted it and the CEL remained but I was able to make it home without any more issues. Pulled the code and it was the P1125 code. I thought maybe it was a one-time thing... however, I did notice that something felt odd.

You know how DSC kicks in and it lifts the throttle for you? It felt kinda like that, but very lightly. It was intermittent but still there; however only at part-throttle and cruising. So this happened every now and again and more often and then my CEL would kick on every now and then, maybe twice a week. So I replaced the throttle body and voila... no more CEL.

However, the Part-Throttle hesitation is still there. I'm thinking it can be one of two things... either the throttle is modulating or the boost is modulating. I'm fairly certain that I nipped the throttle problem after changing the Throttle-Body, but I do know that the pedal and the wiring harness can also be an issue. However, I somehow feel like it's a boost-issue because it's only at part-throttle that I'm feeling it.

Like I mentioned, I'm at 115K miles... so with that being said, things are getting old and beat on.

People who have replaced their BPV's... is this identical to what you were feeling previously? Please advise...

Opinions?

The faulty throttle body likely threw off your adaptation values in the DME. If your scan tool has the capability, reset them.

I reset the ECU completely and started from scratch... having the same symptoms. Since I replaced the throttle-body I haven't had any CEL's... but the modulating is still the same.
