Hi all,

I have a curious issue with my 2002 r50 cooper.

Before anything else, I am plagued by the Airbag light. A DIS software package and connector are on the way to check that and eventually reset the light.

However, my poor Mini suffers from another issue (maybe they are related). I cannot get the seatbelt light to turn on. Not that I am a reckless unbuckled driver, but one day I tried out of curiosity to turn on the ignition and drive around in my parking lot to see if it chimed or blinked. And none happened.

Is there a minimum speed at which this triggers ?

The forums here cover the seatbelt light issue, on post 2004 coopers, but I hardly can find some on the pre-facelift issues.
