Replaced HPFP almost 2 years ago but...
I am getting all of the following codes with my shiny new Bavarian Technic scanner: 2786, 272C, 2D6A, 2D6B, 2D68, 2D69, 277B and 2777. I saw a post of someone that had several of these and they had a wire that was worn/shorting back by the right rear suspension. I checked this wire and while it was through the tape, it was not through the insulation on the wire, so I retaped it and rerouted it. Any thoughts? Like the tile says, the HPFP was replaced, I think, in September of 2012 (I need to check, if it is that, I would obviously like to take it back in ASAP!). I have NOT tried moving coils to see if the misfires follow the coils (I'll swap them around tonight) nor have I reset the codes yet, to see if they come back. Any help would be most appreciated! Oh, it is pretty much all stock other than a noise maker delete, K&N replacment (panel) air filter and a catch can. And, it is a 2007 MCS with just under 130K miles and yes, it has had LOTS of problems throughout its entire life :(

Interesting. So I didn't reset ANY codes at first, only swapped the #3 coil with the #2 coil (one thing at a time, right?!?!
). My wife drove the car some. I went out and checked it tonight, only code stored was 2786. What in the world happened to the others?!?!?! Anyway, so I reset that. It sounds like it can be caused by a leak in the intake. So I guess if it comes back, I will investigate that. Still a little confused why all of the others went away though.
