Mini r56 "S" no fire
Mini r56 "S" no fire
So, I am in the process of fixing up a neglected 2008 mini cooper S r56. The story from the previous owner is the car needed bake pads per the service icon on the tach. Then while driving one day he stopped hard to avoid an accident and the car shut off or stalled and would not restart. Had it trailered home and never pursued fixing it. I have read as much as I can find about them and I took note of the brake pad sensor, but I don't see anyhwere that this could cause a non-start issue.
Uppon further investigation the car does NOT have any fire. The battery is charged, power is getting to the under-hood fuse block and the fuses have power. None of the fuses in the front passengers side fuse block are blown. That is as far as I have made it. It's very slow going until my manual gets here Tues. I was hopping someone on here might have some insight into this problem and be able to help me with some suggestions to test.
