R50 map sensors

Hello all, I am chase down a p0300 and p0172 issue with my 2004 R50. At start up I have a rough idle and terrible acceleration if I try to drive it.

I have checked and have good fuel pressure, replaced the fuel filter, replaced the ignition coil, plugs and wires (all were probably due anyway at 85,000 miles). I'm going to pick up a smoke machine today (a couple of cheap cigars), but was thinking about the Map sensor. I have easily located the one close to the throttle body. When looking for parts online, I see a MAP and TmAP listed. Does the R50 have both, and if so, where is the other located?

Think I found my answer. All of the write-ups I see explain the two sensors and pre and post supercharger. Without the supercharger, I'm sure there is just the one at the throttle body.

I had a plymouth years ago that had stalling/idle issues caused by a bad MAP sensors...hoping problems are solved with this sensor swap!

Did you swap the MAP sensor and if so did it help?

MAP Sensor - Did it do the trick?

Aloha!
Am wondering - did changing the MAP sensor do the trick? Have a similar issue with my wife's '05 Justa. Thought it might be the summer gas blend here in HI. Switched to Shell, but still getting a rough idle/stalling (usually on cold startup).

Try cleaning whatever map sensors you have. If they get coated in oil they don't do great work.

P0300 and P0172

That is:
P0300 Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected
P0172 System Too Rich

I would agree with cleaning sensors and checking your air filter.

Motor on!
