This morning I backed out of the garage and noticed that the tire pressure monitor light was on AND the DSC light was on. Both lights were solid (not flashing). I have not touched the DSC toggle ever.

I pulled the car back into the garage.

Anyone have any ideas what this is? Do I have to send it back to the dealer?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

I had this problem too. It's actually happened to me twice. A lot of cars with DSC have this fault. If you check the tire pressure, they will all be ok. The light will probably turn off on its own in about 20 minutes of driving. It's not a big deal. If the run-flat light is flashing, then you have problems. Otherwise, it's just a system fault.

Look in your owner's manual for ssection discussing tire pressure monitoring and follow the instructions for resetting the light. The light should go out soon after resetting.

This problem has frequently been associated with moisture, but it sounds like your MINI hadn't been in the wet recently.
