Airbag Light problem on 2007 R56.

Airbag Light problem on 2007 R56.
Hi! I have research lots of topic in NAM, look likes it is a common problem on R50/53 but I can't really find similar issue with R56?
Last week, I was driving on a highway, the airbag light and the seatbelt warning light(but no seatbelt alarm) on the odometer just came on.
I don't think it is a problem with the seat occupancy sensor, it seems still functioning? As if someone sit on it and not buckle up, the seatbelt alarm will still on. If i put my bags on the seat, the overhead passenger seat airbag OFF light will come on. So it seems the occupancy sensor still work.
Anyone got similar problem that could give me any advice? The closest MINI dealer is 300miles away and I couldn't bring it in until spring break :(
